A Mental Health Reading Group
A six week gathering, using the book Tenth of December by George Saunders as a jumping off point for a therapeutic conversation about connection, courage, authenticity, and what it means to live a fully human life.
George Sanders is a prize-winning author, who writes stories rich in compassion, humor, and courage. His stories explore our shared humanity and our ability to create meaningful lives despite the absurd conditions of modern life.
Fridays, Sept. 4th- Oct. 9th

What to Expect-
Insurance accepted: Wellmark BC/BS, Iowa Total Care, Wellpoint, United Healthcare.
If not using insurance, sessions are $35.

This is a six week group. Members are expected to attend all six sessions. Group size will be capped at 12 members.

Schuyler Paxton, LMHC brings his expertise in relationship therapy, body-based interventions, and love of book clubs to this unique group therapy experience.

Each session provides opportunities to discuss the story, reflect on personal application of the material in a supportive environment.
